Suitability of the mount is critical to the success of the rider. Rolling Rock Farm provides counseling and evaluation
services for the proper equine selection. We then design a training curriculum tailored to the horses' mental and
physical capabilities and apply consistent training through positive re-enforcement techniques to enable the horse and rider
to achieve their potential. Every 90 days we evaluate the training process and prepare a progress report on the horse,
review the results with the client and establish goals for the next 90 day period. We avoid 'drilling' - repetitive,
intensive work - and strive to establish and maintain willing, happy horses and ponies through a varied exercise and conditioning
program. Our goal is to achieve well rounded mounts that are comfortable and confident in the show ring as well as on the
trail.
